2013 Day 1 - LHR to DFW via EWR

Well 2 trains, 1 coach, 1 car lift, 2 planes, 1 'air train' and 1 expensive taxi later, myself and Matt finally made it to Dallas (albeit on different planes). Needless to say we are both knackered from the day's travellings. Not much else to write about in this blog sadly since the bulk of the day was spent in the air, although there was some nice convective showers brewing during my descent into Newark – nice to look at, rather than fly through (as was the case!).

I'll leave with a bed of convection photo taken over New York/Newark on my connection flight to DFW this evening... a nice cumulonimbus in the background there.
